200 years of constant change and modernisation with the same high quality and competent team of employees. Last year, Musikhaus Doblinger completely restructured its business and repositioned itself to face the challenges of the future with fresh vigour and full motivation.
What can you look forward to?
The range of sheet music and music books at Musikhaus Doblinger has been increased enormously. More sheet music requires more space! For this reason, the entire ground floor area at Dorotheergasse 10 is currently being transformed into a veritable "world of sheet music" and will soon once again be the number one contact point in Austria for musicians and music enthusiasts of all genres. The entire right-hand side of the shop is currently being renovated, lovingly decorated and equipped with a large number of new editions of sheet music. Therefore, it is a special pleasure for us to be able to open the doors to our pop department as well as to our new and in future also the largest choir department in Austria before summer 2022 and to be able to welcome you all with pride in these areas soon.
The world of classical music
The entire left-hand shop area remains a paradise for lovers of classical music. Nevertheless, accents will gradually be added here as well for an even better and more pleasant shopping experience. As this area has remained open throughout, you may have already noticed one or two minor changes here. We have tried to give the classic department the elegance it deserves. From now on, the shop floor as well as the display windows will be illuminated by noble brass chandeliers and our shop windows will be enhanced with dark red velvet curtains. Wie eingangs erwähnt wird der rechte Flügel der Doblinger-Geschäftsräume, wie auch schon aus früheren Zeiten gewohnt, wieder zu einer umfangreich und gut sortierten Pop-Abteilung. Die Nachfrage in diesem Notenbereich steigt laufend und deshalb haben wir auch dieses Angebot umfangreich für Sie erweitert. Ein gut sortierter Raum, gespickt mit modernen Popelementen lässt hier schon bald wieder das Herz eines jeden Pop Fans höherschlagen.
A project of the heart
One of the new highlights of the right-hand shop wing at Dorotheergasse 10 will probably be the completely redesigned choir department. Where once the Central Dispatch and the logistics of the entire house were located, a whole new world for choral and sacred music is currently being created. We don't want to give too much information yet, just one thing in advance: if you are looking for church and choir pieces in the future, no matter how exotic they may be, you will definitely find what you are looking for in the new Doblinger world for choir music. Our choir department manager, Mrs. Daniela Hindinger, is already looking forward to assisting you in word and deed and can barely wait herself to soon be the eminence of the largest choir department in Austria.
